Hotel Roanoke bartender shares recipe for holiday cocktails and mocktails
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The holiday season is here! The lead mixologist at Hotel Roanoke, Henry Hill, Jr., stopped by the WDBJ7 studio to share some holiday cocktails and mocktails folks can make at home.

Mulled “Wine” recipe:
2 cups cranberry Juice
2 cups of POM juice
1 orange sliced
1 lemon sliced
1 apple sliced
1 cup fresh cranberries
4 cinnamon sticks
8-10 whole cloves
Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain into a tight fitting lid and refrigerate for up to a week!
Spiced simple syrup
1 cup hot water
1 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon allspice
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Heat water in microwave for 90 seconds. Stir in all other ingredients until
Incorporated. Store in tight fitting lid and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks!
