$348M winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Virginia

VIRGINIA (WDBJ) - Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Virginia is about to become very, very rich.

One ticket matched all six numbers in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, and that ticket was sold at E&C VA on 14878 Northumberland Hwy in Burgess, VA, according to the Virginia Lottery.

The jackpot is estimated at $348 million, making it the largest prize ever won in a Virginia Lottery game, the agency said.

The winning numbers were 18-21-29-42-50 and the Mega Ball number was 2.

It is the 10th time a Mega Millions jackpot has been won in Virginia since the game began in 2002.
